In this spirited and action-packed adventure young Nono, a nearly 13 year old dreamer, longs to be a detective like his father, the famous police inspector; but his wild nature constantly gets him into trouble. Fed up with Nono's fantasies and antics, his father sends him off to his uncle's. On the train, the very imaginative Nono discovers one last chance to prove himself. He meets the charming international thief Felix Glick, an old acquaintance of his father's, with whom he travels to the French Rivera and enters a world of intrigue and pursuits, crossing paths with the famous singer Lola Ciperola (Isabella Rossellini) and the mysterious Zohara whose secrets will change his life forever.
